Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 6, the Town of Richmond Hill’s project to rehabilitate the mainline sewers along Yonge Street between Oxford Street / Industrial Drive and Major Mackenzie Drive expands to include the intersection of Yonge and Elgin Mills Road.
This week, the Town is closing traffic lanes on Yonge at Elgin Mills, affecting GO Transit and York Region Transit / Viva services.

Until at least Friday, October 30, passengers should expect delays on Yonge Street between Elgin Mills Road and Major Mackenzie Drive.

From Monday, October 6 until Monday, October 13, passengers should expect delays at Yonge Street and Elgin Mills Road.
589 Richmond Hill community
Until at least Friday, October 30, passengers should expect delays on Yonge Street between Levendale Drive and Dunlap Street.
83 Trench
Until at least Friday, October 30, passengers should expect delays on Yonge Street between Jacey Anne Drive and Crosby Avenue.
Viva blue
Until at least Friday, October 30, passengers should expect delays between Elgin Mills Road and Major Mackenzie Drive.
86 Weldrick - Newkirk
From Monday, October 6 until Monday, October 13, passengers should expect delays at Yonge Street and Elgin Mills Road.
99 Yonge South
Until at least Friday, October 30, passengers should expect delays between Elgin Mills Road and Major Mackenzie Drive.
The project started on Monday, July 27.
Another construction project further north on Yonge Street also continues to affect YRT services.
