GO detours buses in Orangeville, starting October 19

Update — October 27: Construction has ended and buses have resumed regular routes.

Starting tomorrow, Monday, October 19, the Town of Orangeville is closing Hansen Boulevard between Amelia and First Streets for a construction project.

GO Transit is detouring buses operating along the 37 Orangeville - Brampton and 37A Orangeville - Bramalea routes during the project.

From Monday, October 19 until Friday, October 23, buses continue to serve their regular stop at First Street and Hansen Boulevard through the mall entrance on First Street.

The buses then detour:

southward along First Street;
westward along Elizabeth Street; and then
northward along Amelia Street to Hansen Road,
resuming their regular route westward along Hansen.

Orangeville Transit has not announced detours, but construction likely also affects service along the Green route.
