New GO bus service to Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo is the highlight as GO Transit revises its routes and schedules, starting Saturday, October 31.
The changes affect these routes: 01 Lakeshore West; 12 Niagara Falls - Burlington, 12A Grimsby - Burlington, 15 McMaster - Aldershot express; 15A McMaster - Burlington express; 18 Hamilton - Aldershot; 18 Hamilton - Burlington, 20 Milton - Bronte, 20 Milton - Oakville, 21 Milton - Mississauga - Union, 25 Waterloo - Mississauga; 25A Waterloo - Milton; 31 Georgetown train, 31 Guelph - Georgetown - Union bus, 37 Orangeville - Brampton, 37A Orangeville - Bramalea, 38 Bolton - Malton, 60 Wonderland - York Mills express; 88 Peterborough - Oshawa.
Specifically, GO is: introducing new regular routes; cancelling a current regular route; cancelling a current seasonal route; introducing new service to colleges and universities; revising a current regular route; increasing service along current regular routes; decreasing service along current regular routes; adjusting the schedules of current regular routes.
Introducing new regular routes
25 Waterloo - Mississauga
Starting Saturday, October 31, GO introduces bus service to Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo seven days a week.
Eleven eastbound buses operate Mondays to Fridays from the University of Waterloo, Wilfred Laurier University and downtown Kitchener to Mississauga’s City Centre Terminal at Square One. The buses stop in Cambridge at Grand River Transit’s iXpress stop at Hespeler Road and Highway 401, the Aberfoyle “Park and Ride” carpool lot, just south of Guelph at County Road 46 and the 401 and the Milton “Park and Ride” carpool lot at Halton Regional Highway 25 and the 401.
Twelve westbound buses reverse the routing.
Also Mondays to Fridays only during rush hours, two buses operate in each direction between Waterloo and Milton GO Station on the 25A branch of the route.
Seven buses in both directions also operate along the main route Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

25A Waterloo - Milton
Starting Monday, November 2, GO operates two eastbound buses from the Davis Centre at the University of Waterloo to the Milton GO Station during morning rush hours to drop off passengers wanting to connect with an eastbound 21 Milton GO train to downtown Toronto.
Mondays to Fridays only during afternoon rush hours, two westbound buses also start their trips at Milton GO Station to pick up passengers from westbound GO trains heading toward Aberfoyle, Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.
GO operates buses seven days a week between the Davis Centre and the Mississauga City Centre Terminal along the 12 Waterloo - Mississauga route.

Friday, October 30 is the last day that buses operate along this route.
Starting Monday, November 2, GO revises the route so that buses operate to and from Oakville GO Station along the new 20 Milton - Oakville route.

Southbound buses operate along their current route to the Bronte / 407 “Park and Ride” carpool lot, then proceed:
southward along Bronte Road (Regional Highway 25);
eastward along Highway 407;
southward along Trafalgar Road;
westward along Ceremonial Drive to the new Sheridan College terminal;
west- and then eastward along Ceremonial;
southward along Trafalgar Road;
westward along Cross Avenue; and then
southward into Oakville GO Station bus terminal,
ending their trips.Northbound buses reverse this routing.
Buses do not serve the Oakville “Park and Ride” carpool lot at Trafalgar Road and Highway 407, but serve local stops along Trafalgar Road between Highway 407 and Cross Avenue.

88 Peterborough - Oshawa
Starting Saturday, October 31, buses start serving the new Clarington North “Park and Ride” carpool lot at Highways 35 and 115. Making an extra stop means that southbound buses must leave Trent University’s Peter Gzowski College in Peterborough five to ten minutes earlier than currently to arrive in time to meet GO’s 09 Lakeshore East trains at Oshawa GO station. Northbound buses leave Oshawa GO Station at the same times as they do currently, but, by serving the new stop, they arrive at Trent five to ten minutes later than currently.
GO is also adjusting the schedule of the route.

Starting Monday, November 2, GO revises its current 20 Milton - Bronte route so that buses operate to and from Oakville GO Station instead of Bronte GO Station. Buses serve local stops along Trafalgar Road between Highway 407 and Cross Avenue and also the new bus terminal at Sheridan College’s Oakville Campus.
Southbound buses arrive at Sheridan from Milton GO Station and leave for Oakville GO Station at 6:11, 6:51, 8:06, 9:06 and 11:06 a.m. and 3:21, 4:11, 4:36, 6:06, 7:06, 9:06 and 11:06 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
Northbound buses arrive at Sheridan from Oakville GO Station and leave for Milton GO Station at 7, 7:42, 8:47. 9:35 and 11:35 a.m. and 1:35, 3:35, 4:24, 5:46, 6:36, 7:35, 9:35 and 11:35 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
Together, GO buses operating on the 20 Milton - Oakville and 46 Oakville - York U routes offer passengers more frequent service between Sheridan and Oakville GO Station.

Starting Monday, November 2, GO operates one more south- and eastbound bus from the Mississauga City Centre Terminal at Square One to Union Station. The bus leaves Square One at 9:35 a.m., Cooksville GO Station at 9:50 a.m. and arrives at Union Station at 10:25 a.m. Mondays to Fridays.

Friday, October 30 is the last day that GO operates the eastbound bus that leaves the Grimsby “Park and Ride” carpool lot at 5:10 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. (The bus arrives at the Burlington GO Station at 5:40 p.m.)
GO only started this service on Tuesday, September 8 and has already adjusted the schedule once on Thursday, September 24. GO is further adjusting the schedule starting Monday, November 2.

Starting Monday, November 2, GO is adjusting the schedule to accommodate changes in the 31 Georgetown train schedule and allow passengers enough time to transfer between trains and buses.
Southbound buses continue to operate with their current schedule.
Northbound buses leave Malton GO Station one minute later than currently to allow passengers to transfer to the bus from 31 Georgetown trains. The eastbound trains that leave Georgetown GO Station at 6:22, 6:50. 7:08 and 7:46 a.m. Mondays to Fridays leave two to three minutes earlier at 6:25, 6:47, 7:06 and 7:43 a.m. The trains leave all stops along the line at the same times as currently or one to three minutes earlier. They all arrive at Union Station at their current times of 7:25, 7:50, 7:58 and 8:45 a.m. Mondays to Fridays.
The eastbound trains that currently leave Bramalea GO Station at 8:40 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Mondays to Fridays continue to leave Bramalea at the same times, but arrive at Union Station two minutes later than currently at 8:55 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The trains leave stations between Bramalea and Union at the same times as currently or one to two minutes later than currently.

Eastbound buses leave the Grimsby “Park and Ride” carpool lot five minutes later than currently. The buses serve all regular stops five minutes later than currently and arrive at the Burlington GO Station five minutes later than currently. They leave Grimsby at 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. and 3:30 and 8:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. They arrive in Burlington at 5 and 6 a.m. and 4 and 9 p.m.
Most westbound buses leave Burlington at the same times as they do currently, but arrive at Grimsby eight minutes later than currently at 9:18 a.m. and 4:56, 7:30 and 10:06 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The westbound bus that currently leaves Burlington at 1:44 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays leaves four minutes later at 1:48 a.m. and arrives in Grimsby at 2:06 a.m.
GO is also decreasing service along the route by one trip.

15 McMaster - Aldershot express
Starting Sunday, November 1, GO is adjusting the schedule to accommodate changes in the 01 Lakeshore West train schedule and allow passengers enough time to transfer between trains and buses.
The westbound buses that currently leave Aldershot GO Station at 3:51, 4:51, 5:51, 6:51, 7:51, 8:51, 9:51, 10:51 and 11:51 Sundays (unless Monday is a statutory holiday) and Mondays (if Monday is a statutory holiday) leave four to six minutes later than currently at 3:57, 4:57, 5:57, 6:57, 7:57, 8:55, 9:55, 10:55 and 11:55 p.m. They arrive at the McMaster University GO Bus Terminal four to six minutes later than currently at 4:07, 5:07, 6:07, 7:07, 8:07, 9:05, 10:05 and 11:05 p.m.
Starting Monday, November 2, the eastbound buses that currently leave the McMaster University GO Bus Terminal at 9:45, 10:45 and 11:45 a.m. and 12:45, 1:45, 7:45, 8:45, 9:45, 10:45 and 11:45 p.m. Mondays to Fridays leave six to eight minutes earlier at 9:39, 10:39 and 11:39 a.m. and 12:39, 1:39, 7:37, 8:37, 9:37, 10:37 and 11:37 p.m. The buses arrive at Aldershot GO Station four minutes earlier than currently at 9:52, 10:52 and 11:52 a.m. and 12:52 and 1:52 p.m. Evenings, the buses arrive at Aldershot eight minutes earlier than currently at 7:50, 8:50, 9:50, 10:50 and 11:50 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
The westbound buses that currently leave Aldershot GO Station at 10:51 and 11:51 a.m. and 12:51, 1:51, 2:51 p.m. 7:51, 8:51, 9:51, 10:51 and 11:51 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 12:51 and 1:51 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays leave four minutes later at 10:55 and 11:55 a.m. and 12:55, 1:55, 2:55, 7:55, 8:55, 9:55, 10:55 and 11:55 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 12:55 and 1:55 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays. The buses serve all stops four to later than currently and arrive at the Hamilton GO Centre four minutes later than currently at 11:01 a.m. and 12:01, 1:01, 2:01, 3:01, 8:10, 9:10, 10:10 and 11:10 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 12:10, 1:10 and 2:10 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Starting Monday, November 2, GO is adjusting the schedule to accommodate changes in the 01 Lakeshore West train schedule and allow passengers enough time to transfer between trains and buses.
The eastbound bus that currently leaves the McMaster University GO Bus Terminal at 8:40 a.m. Mondays to Fridays leaves five minutes earlier at 8:35 a.m. The bus arrives at Burlington GO Station five minutes earlier than currently at 9 a.m.

21 Milton - Mississauga - Union
Starting Monday, November 2, the south- and eastbound bus that currently starts its trip at Cooksville GO Station at 9:50 a.m. Mondays to Fridays starts its trip, instead, at the Mississauga City Centre Terminal at Square One at 9:35 a.m. The bus then proceeds to Cooksville, arriving at 9:50 a.m. and then continues on the current schedule, arriving at Union Station at 10:25 a.m. Mondays to Fridays.

12 Niagara Falls - Burlington
Starting Saturday, October 31, GO is adjusting the schedule to accommodate changes in the 01 Lakeshore West train schedule and allow passengers enough time to transfer between trains and buses.
Most - but not all — eastbound buses leave the Niagara Falls VIA Rail station five to ten minutes earlier than currently. They serve all stops along the route five to ten minutes earlier than currently and also end their trips at Burlington GO Station five to ten minutes earlier than currently.
Most - but not all — westbound buses leave the Burlington GO Station five to ten minutes earlier than currently. They serve all stops along the route five to ten minutes earlier than currently and also end their trips at the Niagara Falls VIA Rail station five to ten minutes earlier than currently.
Starting Saturday, October 31, eastbound buses leave Niagara Falls at 7:45 and 11:45 a.m. and 1:45, 3:45, 5:45 and 9:45 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. They arrive in Burlington at 9 a.m. and 1, 3, 5, 7 and 11 p.m.
Westbound buses leave Burlington at 9:44 a.m. and 1:44, 3:44, 5:44, 7:44 and 11:44 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. They arrive in Niagara Falls at 10:50 a.m. and 2:50, 4:50, 6:50 and 8:50 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and 12:50 a.m. Sundays, Mondays and the day after statutory holidays.
Starting Monday, November 2, eastbound buses leave Niagara Falls at 5:30, 6, 6:45, 7:45, 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. and 12:45, 1:55, 3:20, 4:45, 5:45 and 9:45 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. They arrive in Burlington at 6:45, 7:15, 8, 9 and 10 a.m., noon, 2, 3:10, 4:35, 6, 7, and 11 p.m.
Westbound buses leave Burlington at 7:11, 7:51, 9:47 and 11:44 a.m. and 1:44, 3:44, 5:04, 5:56, 6:28, 7:44, 9:44 and 11:44 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 1:44 Tuesdays to Saturdays. The arrive in Niagara Falls at 8:17, 8:57 and 10:53 a.m. and 12:50, 2:50, 3:50, 4:50, 6:10, 7:02, 7:34 and 8:50 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 12:50 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays.
GO only started this service on Saturday, September 5 and has already adjusted the schedule once on Thursday, September 24.

37A Orangeville - Bramalea
Starting Monday, November 2, GO is adjusting the schedule to accommodate changes in the 31 Georgetown train schedule and allow passengers enough time to transfer between trains and buses.
Southbound buses continue to operate with their current schedule.
The northbound bus that currently leaves Bramalea GO Station at 10:30 a.m. Mondays to Fridays leaves two minutes later at 10:32 a.m. to allow passengers to transfer to the bus from 31 Georgetown trains. The bus serves all stops two minutes later than currently, arriving at the Orangeville “Park and Ride” carpool lot at Townline and Green Street at 11:33 a.m. Mondays to Fridays.

37 Orangeville - Brampton
Starting Monday, November 2, GO is adjusting the schedule to accommodate changes in the 31 Georgetown train schedule and allow passengers enough time to transfer between trains and buses.
Southbound buses continue to operate with their current schedule.
Northbound buses leave Brampton GO Station two to three minutes later than currently to allow passengers to transfer to the bus from 31 Georgetown trains. (The bus that currently leaves Brampton at 8:15 p.m. Mondays to Fridays still leaves at 8:15 p.m.). Northbound buses leave Brampton at 3:42, 5:25, 5:55, 6:55 and 8:15 p.m. Most serve stops two to three minutes later than currently, arriving at the Orangeville “Park and Ride” carpool lot at Townline and Green Street at 4:37, 6:13, 6:43, 7:33 and 9:03 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

88 Peterborough - Oshawa
Starting, Saturday, October 31, southbound buses leave Trent University’s Peter Gzowski College five to ten minutes later than currently. Southbound buses leave Trent at 5:15, 6:20, 8:05, 9:05 and 11:05 a.m. and 12:50, 2:40, 3:55, 6 and 10:05 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 8:05 and 9:05 a.m., noon and 3, 6:05 and 10:05 Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. All buses arrive at Oshawa GO Station at the same times as they do currently, in time for passengers to connect with trains operating along GO’s 09 Lakeshore East line.
Northbound buses arrive at Trent University’s Peter Gzowski College five to ten minutes later than currently. Northbound buses arrive at 8:33, 9:48 and 11:33 a.m. and 1:33, 3:33, 5:36, 6:35, 7:39 and 9:33 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 1:33 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays. They arrive at Trent at 9:33 a.m. and 12:33, 3:33, 5:33, 6:33 and 9:33 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and 1:33 a.m. Sundays, Mondays and the first day after a statutory holiday.
GO is adjusting the schedule to accommodate an extra stop along the route.
GO started operating buses along this route on Saturday, September 5.
