Malton GO Station construction
further restricts passenger access to trains, starting today

Starting today, Monday, November 2, construction at Malton GO Station restricts passenger access to trains — now from the east end of the station.

While GO Transit contractors are continuing the project to build a new platform and shelter and install light-posts at the station, passengers boarding or leaving the train have access only to the six west-end cars of the train.

(The project has been going on since April of this year. Until this week, GO restricted access to the west end of the station and passengers could only board leave cars the easternmost cars.)

GO expects to finish the work in February, 2010.
