Gas leak disrupts Richmond Hill GO train service

GO Transit detoured some early trains operating along the 61 Richmond Hill line this afternoon due to a gas leak near Old Cummer Station.

GO diverted the trains along a different right of way to serve passengers traveling north of Langstaff Station, but skipped their regular stops at Oriole and Old Cummer. Trains arrived in Langstaff about 30 minutes behind schedule.

Regular service has resumed.
