TTC resumes through 501 Queen streetcar service,
November 23

Starting Monday, November 23, the TTC is ending its five-week trial of splitting streetcar service along Queen Streets East and West, the Queensway and Lake Shore Boulevard West into two routes.

On Monday, streetcars again operate along the entire 501 Queen and 301 Queen overnight routes from Neville Park loop in the east to either Humber or Long Branch loops in the west.

TTC staff will report to a future meeting of the Toronto Transit Commission on the results of splitting the route and recommend ways to permanently solve the long-standing service reliability issues on the route.
