Mississauga Transit detours buses in Clarkson,
starting November 23



Update — January 7, 2010: Construction has ended and regular transit service has resumed.


Update — November 30: Mississauga Transit is introducing service along the new 29A Park Royal - Meadow Wood branch, starting Monday, December 7. Bromsgrove construction also affects buses operating along the new branch.


Starting Monday, November 23, the City of Mississauga is closing Bromsgrove Drive east of Seagull Drive in the Park Royal neighbourhood of Clarkson for a project to build sanitary sewers.

Mississauga Transit is detouring buses during the project.

Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 23, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Truscott and Seagull Drives, then detour:

southward along Seagull;
westward along Bromsgrove Drive;
northward along Winston Churchill Boulevard;
eastward along Truscott;
southward along Southdown Road to Bromsgrove Drive,
resuming their regular route southward along Southdown.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Southdown Road and Bromsgrove Drive, then detour:

northward along Southdown;
westward along Truscott Drive; southward along Seagull Drive;
westward along Bromsgrove Drive;
northward along Winston Churchill Boulevard; and then
eastward along Truscott to Southdown,
resuming their regular route northward along Southdown.

Construction likely continues until Saturday, December 19.
