All Guelph Transit routes

You can ride any Guelph Transit bus for free on Friday, December 11 to the Guelph Storm game against the Owen Sound Attack at 7:30 p.m. — if you have a valid ticket to the game. You can ride free of fare to and from the Sleeman Centre on Friday evening after 5 p.m. by simply showing the Guelph Transit driver your game ticket.


Sunderland

Sunderland Santa Claus Parade

The Township of Brock is closing

  • River Street and
  • Albert Street

in the village of Sunderland on Saturday evening to accommodate the annual parade.

GO Transit is detouring buses during the event.

81 Beaverton / Port Perry - Uxbridge

The northbound bus that leaves Whitby GO Station at 5:06 p.m. on Saturday, December 12 remains on Highway 12, instead of operating along Albert and River Streets through Sunderland.


Toronto

Cavalcade of Lights

The City of Toronto is closing

  • Bay Street between Dundas and Queen Streets West

on Saturday evening to accommodate the fireworks display at Nathan Phillips Square.

The TTC is detouring buses during the event.

6 Bay

(The TTC has confirmed the detour.)

From 7 until 10 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Bay Street and Dundas Street West, then detour:

westward along Dundas West;
southward along University Avenue; and then
eastward along Adelaide Street West to Bay,
resuming their regular route southward along Bay.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops on Bay Street at Hagerman and Albert Streets, at Queen Street West, south of Richmond Street West and at Adelaide Street West.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Bay Street and Richmond Street West, then detour:

westward along Richmond West,
northward along University Avenue; and then
eastward along Dundas Street West to Bay,
resuming their regular route northward along Bay.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops on Bay Street at Queen Street West, Albert and Hagerman Streets and Dundas Street West.

501 Queen

From 7 until 10 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, passengers should expect delays when streetcars pass along Queen Street West at Bay Street. A large number of people, including families with children, attend this event.
