Update — January 2, 12:04 p.m.: Regular service has resumed.

GO Transit is reporting that it is detouring buses operating along the 69 Beaverton - Newmarket route this morning. The roadway near the Roche’s Point and Island Grove communities between Keswick and Jackson’s Point has collapsed from flooding.

Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Metro Road North and Woodbine Avenue, then detour:

southbound along Woodbine;
westward along Deer Park Road; and then
northward along Varney Road to Metro North,
resuming their regular route westward along Metro.

Northbound buses reverse the routing.
