Buses detour near Mississauga City Centre, March 4 and 6



Update — March 5, 2:59 p.m.: Transit Toronto reader, David Fisher reports that Confederation Parkway did not close yesterday, March 4 and will not close tomorrow, March 6, because work crews are already dismantling the crane, which they set up on Tuesday, March 2. Expect buses to operate along their regular route tomorrow.


The City of Mississauga is closing

  • Confederation Parkway between Rathburn Road West and Princess Royal Drive

from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. today and Saturday to let work crews to set up a crane at a nearby construction site.

Mississauga Transit is detouring buses while the road is closed.

28 Confederation

From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 4 and Saturday, March 6, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Rathburn Road West and Living Arts Drive, then detour:

southward along Living Arts; and then
westward along Princess Royal Drive to Confederation Parkway,
resuming their regular route southward along Confederation.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops on Confederation Parkway, south of Rathburn Road West and at Princess Royal Drive.

Northbound buses reverse this routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops on Confederation Parkway at Rathburn Road West and on Rathburn West at Living Arts Drive.
