TTC detours Bathurst and Harbourfront streetcars
while crews repair tracks at the Exhibition



TTC work crews are repairing streetcar tracks at the Exhibition Loop (near the Princes’ Gate) this weekend, so the TTC is detouring streetcars operating along the 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst routes.

Buses replace the streetcars.

511 Bathurst

From 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 10 until 5 a.m. on Monday, April 12, southbound streetcars operate along their regular route to Bathurst Street and King Street West, then detour:

eastward along King East;
southward along Spadina and Lower Spadina Avenue;
eastward along Queens Quay West to the entrance to the streetcar loop; and then
north- and westward into the loop,
ending their trips.

Southbound cars skip their regular stops on Bathurst Street south of Wellington Street West, at Front Street West and Fort York Boulevard, on Fleet Street west of Bathurst and Bastion Streets and Fort York, on the loop roadway west of Strachan Avenue and in Exhibition Loop.

Northbound cars start their trips at the Queens Quay / Spadina Loop, then proceed:

northward along Lower Spadina and Spadina Avenues; and then
westward along King Street West to Bathurst Street,
resuming their regular route northward along Bathurst.

Northbound cars skip their regular stops on Fleet Street east of Strachan Avenue and Fort York Boulevard, opposite Bastion Street and at Bathurst Street and on Bathurst opposite Fort York Boulevard and at Front, Wellington and King Streets West.

Shuttle buses replace streetcars along Fleet Street.

509 Harbourfront

From 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 10 until 5 a.m. on Monday, April 12, eastbound cars start their trips at the Queens Quay / Spadina Loop, then proceed:

southward along Lower Spadina Avenue to Queens Quay West,
resuming their regular route eastward along Queens Quay.

Eastbound cars skip their regular stops on Fleet Street east of Strachan Avenue and Fort York Boulevard, opposite Bastion Street and at Bathurst Street and on Queens Quay West west of Bathurst, opposite Dan Leckie Way and at Lower Spadina Avenue.

Westbound cars operate along their regular route to the entrance into the Queens Quay / Spadina Loop, then proceed:

north- and westward to the loop,
ending their trips.

Westbound cars skip their regular stops on Queens Quay West at Lower Spadina Avenue and west of Dan Leckie Way, on Bathurst Street north of Queens Quay, on Fleet Street west of Bathurst and Bastion Streets and Fort York, on the loop roadway west of Strachan Avenue and in Exhibition Loop.

Shuttle buses replace streetcars along Fleet Street and Queens Quay West between Bathurst Street and Lower Spadina Avenue.

509 Harbourfront shuttle bus

From 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 10 until 5 a.m. on Monday, April 12, eastbound buses start their trips on Manitoba Drive beside Exhibition (streetcar) Loop, then proceed:

westward along Manitoba and Fleet Street;
southward along Fort York Boulevard;
eastward along Lake Shore Boulevard West;
southward along Bathurst Street;
eastward along Queens Quay West to the entrance to the streetcar loop; and then
north- and westward into the loop,
ending their trips.

Westbound buses start their trips in the Queens Quay / Spadina Loop, then proceed:

southward along Lower Spadina Avenue;
westward along Queens Quay West;
northward along Bathurst Street;
westward along Fleet Street and Manitoba Drive;
southward along Canada Drive;
westward along Princes’ Boulevard;
north- and westward along Nunuvut Road;
northward along Nova Scotia Avenue; and then
eastward along Manitoba Drive to a stop beside the Exhibition (streetcar) Loop,
ending their trips.
