Update — May 22: Although the TTC is interlining the 22 Coxwell and 70 O’Connor routes, buses continue to operate through the terminal. It has postponed construction at the Coxwell Station terminal.
Starting Sunday, May 9, the TTC is closing the bus terminal at Coxwell Station during a project to repair and rebuild the roadway at the terminal.
While the terminal is closed, the TTC is interlining buses operating along the 22 Coxwell and 70 O’Connor routes.
All buses operate south- and northbound along Coxwell Avenue and don’t enter the terminal.
The work continues until Tuesday, September 7.
22 Coxwell
You can board southbound buses at the stop on the west side of Coxwell Avenue, just north of Danforth Avenue.
Since the buses aren’t entering the terminal, you’ll need a paper transfer ticket to board the buses at Coxwell and Danforth, if you paid your fare by cash, ticket or token elsewhere on the TTC system.
Northbound buses end their trips on the east side of Coxwell Avenue, just north of Danforth Avenue. Make sure you get a transfer ticket where you pay your fare if you want to connect with the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway.
Construction at Bingham Loop also affects service along this route, starting Monday, May 10.
70 O’Connor
Southbound buses end their trips on the east side of Coxwell Avenue, just north of Danforth Avenue. Make sure you get a transfer ticket where you pay your fare if you want to connect with the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway.

Transit agencies often interline transit vehicles operating along two or more routes with a common terminal to save resources — vehicles and drivers.
In this case, a southbound bus operating along the 70 O’Connor route arrives at Coxwell and Danforth Avenues, then continues southward along the 22 Coxwell route.

Since the TTC is temporarily interlining the 22 Coxwell and 70 O’Connor routes, it won’t be interlining 70 O’Connor buses with 16 McCowan buses at Warden Station late Saturday, Sunday and holiday evenings after 10 p.m. or 135 Gerrard buses at Warden Station late Monday-to-Friday evenings after 10 p.m.
