See final plans for Mississauga Busway, May 19

You can view the City of Mississauga final plans for the Mississauga Busway, a bus rapid transit project across the centre of the city, at a public information meeting on Wednesday, May 19.

City staff will also present the project schedules for building the two-lane bus-only roadway for both GO Transit and Mississauga Transit vehicles. Construction on the busway beside Highway 403, Rathburn Roads East and West, Eastgate Parkway and Eglinton Avenue East between Winston Churchill Boulevard and Renforth Drive starts this summer and continues until 2012.

The meeting takes place:

Wednesday, May 19,

from 2 until 4 p.m.
from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mississauga Civic Centre, Great Hall
300 City Centre Drive
(Duke of York and City Centre Drive)

At an earlier public information meeting on Thursday, January 28, you had a chance to see the plans for transit-only lanes along Rathburn Roads East and West near the City Centre Terminal and Square One.
