Construction on Burgoyne bridge may delay buses

Update — May 23: The City has reopened all lanes to traffic and regular transit service has resumed.

The City of St. Catharines is reducing the number of lanes for traffic crossing the Burgoyne Bridge (St. Paul Street West) over Twelve Mile Creek starting today, Tuesday, May 18 for a construction project.

Passengers traveling on St. Catharines Transit Commission buses operating along the 3 Pelham Rd., 15 West St. Catharines and 115 West St. Catharines evening and weekend routes should expect delays this week. Plan on adding extra time for your trip.
