YRT detours buses during hospital construction,
starting May 25

A construction project at Markham Stouffville Hospital means that York Region Transit buses cannot operate along Butternut Lane, the street in front of the hospital, starting Tuesday, May 25.

YRT is detouring buses operating along the 9 Ninth Line and 18 Bur Oak routes during the project.

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Bur Oak Avenue and Church Street, then detour:

westward along Highway 7;
northward along Ninth Line; and then

ending their trips.
