Guelph Transit relocates stops near St. George's Square,
May 27



City of Guelph contractors are replacing sidewalks along Wyndham Street North, in front of the Old Quebec Street Shoppes, near St. George’s Square in downtown Guelph.

While the project proceeds, Guelph Transit is relocating stops for buses operating along the 1 Woodlawn, 7 St. Joseph’s Hospital and 8 General Hospital routes today, Thursday, May 27.

8 General Hospital

Today, Thursday, May 27, outbound buses pick up passengers on Wyndham Street North beside Scotiabank at St. George’s Square, instead of beside the Old Quebec Street Shoppes.

Construction on Speedvale Avenue east of Victoria Road North also affects service along this route.

7 St. Joseph’s Hospital

Outbound buses continue to pick up passengers on Quebec Street at St. George’s Square beside BMO Bank of Montreal, instead of on Wyndham Street North beside the Old Quebec Street Shoppes, as they have since Thursday, April 28.

Construction on Norfolk Street at Suffolk Street, on Woodlawn Avenue West and on Westmount Road also affects service along the route.

1 Woodlawn

Today, Thursday, May 27, outbound buses pick up passengers on Wyndham Street North beside the Old Quebec Street Shoppes, instead of beside Scotiabank, near St. George’s Square.

Construction at the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East with Stevenson Street North has also affected service along the route since Tuesday, March 16.


Outbound buses operate away from downtown.
