Update: Speedvale / Stevenson construction ends,
Guelph Transit buses resume regular service

City of Guelph contractors will finish working at the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North next Thursday, June 30.

The City is reopening the intersection to through traffic that day. Guelph Transit buses operating along the 1 Woodlawn route resume regular service through the intersection, again serving their regular stops on Speedvale Avenue East between Metcalfe Street and Manhattan Court and east of Stevenson Street North.

They no longer drop off and pick up passengers at the temporary stop at 345 Speedvale East, across from the Liquour Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) store.

The City’s contractors started work, and Guelph Transit revised the service, on Tuesday, March 16.
