Guelph Transit revises detour for Westmount construction,
starting August 20 (or earlier)

Update — December 21, 7:05 a.m.: Construction ends for 2010 tomorrow, Wednesday, December 22. Work resumes in the spring. Guelph Transit buses have resumed their regular routes.

Update — September 16, 5:14 p.m.: More detours for buses operating along the 7 St. Josephs Hospital and 22 Conestoga routes during construction at Edinburgh Road North and London Road West, starting Saturday, September 18.

Yesterday, we reported that Guelph Transit was temporarily detouring buses operating along the 7 St. Josephs Hospital route, so that inbound buses again picked up and drop off passengers at their regular stops on Westmount Road north of Highview Place.

Some Transit Toronto readers e-mailed us to let us know that, even though the buses were detouring along a temporary route yesterday only, Guelph Transit actually restored service to the north end of Westmount Road some days ago.

The new detour for buses operating along the 7 St. Joseph’s Hospital route follows.
