Construction temporarily restricts passenger access
at Agincourt GO Station, starting November 26

Update — December 10: Construction of the ramp has ended and buses have resumed regular service. Construction of the new bridge to carry the tracks across Sheppard Avenue East continues to block access to the south parking lot.

Starting this Friday, November 26, GO Transit contractors start building a new ramp to improve access to the train platforms for passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility devices at Agincourt GO Station.

However, the work temporarily restricts access for all passengers boarding or exiting from GO trains at the station. Until work ends, you can only use the first six cars after the accessible car if you intend to get on or get off the trains at Agincourt. GO crews will keep all doors of all other cars on the train closed at Agincourt Station.

Construction continues until Monday, December 6.

However, expect construction of a new overpass to carry the train tracks across Sheppard Avenue East — part of the project to build the Sheppard East light rail Transit City line — to affect service at this station until 2012.
