Update — December 3, 2010, 10:35 a.m.: The TTC is postponing the work early Saturday, December 4, 2010. Subways operate along the entire 1 Yonge - University - Spadina line between Finch and Downsview Stations.

The TTC is closing another section of the subway after midnight for another week, starting early Sunday, November 28.

You’ll have to board a bus, if you want to travel between St. Clair West and St. George Stations after midnight from Sunday, November 27 until Saturday, December 4.

The TTC is stopping subway service after midnight so that workers can continue an ongoing project to repair the tracks. During this phase of the project, all 1 Yonge - University - Spadina subway trains operate between Finch and St. George Stations and between Downsview and St. Clair West Stations only, starting at midnight. (From about 12:30 until 1:30 a.m. every morning, except Sundays, as the TTC project to repair the tunnels north of Eglinton Station continues, trains operate northward along the Yonge leg of the subway line only as far Eglinton Station.)

Regular service along the entire 1 Yonge - University - Spadina line resumes at about 5:30 a.m. Mondays to Saturdays and about 9 a.m. Sundays.

Frequent, accessible buses operate between Eglinton West and St. George Stations, while the subway is closed.

Watch for signs and listen to public service announcements to find out where you can board the buses in each station. The TTC is also assigning extra staff to Eglinton West, St. Clair West, Spadina and St. George Stations to help direct passengers to where they want to go.

It’s closing Dupont Station to all passengers every night at midnight.

The TTC is already closing the subway after midnight between Downsview and St. Clair West Stations from Sunday, November 14 until this Saturday, November 27. (It’s reopening the section between Downsview and St. Clair West to regular service after midnight, starting early this Sunday.)

Earlier, it closed the subway after midnight between Downsview and Lawrence West Stations the weekends of Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25 and Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19. It also closed the subway between Downsview and Lawrence West from Monday, November 1 until Saturday, November 14.
