No subway service north of Bloor Station after midnight,
December 6 to 18



The TTC is closing the Yonge leg of the 1 Yonge - University - Spadina subway north of Bloor - Yonge Station about 90 minutes earlier each night starting at 12:30 a.m., from Monday, December 6 through Saturday, December 18 to maintain the tracks. The TTC operates normal subway service along the entire line between Finch and Downsview Stations after 12:30 a.m., early Sunday, December 12.

Frequent, accessible buses operate between Bloor - Yonge and Finch Stations, while the subway is closed. The buses drop off and pick up passengers at all stops along Yonge Street and all subway stations between Bloor - Yonge and Finch Stations. Passengers who use mobility devices or who want to avoid stairs and escalators should use the elevators at Bloor - Yonge Station to transfer between the subway and the buses.

The TTC is closing North York Centre and Summerhill Stations to all passengers after 12:30 a.m. each morning that the subway closes earlier than usual.

Starting at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, December 20, the TTC again closes the subway, but only north of Eglinton Station early Monday-to-Saturday mornings, as it has since February 16, 2009. Frequent, accessible buses operate between Finch and Eglinton Stations. The subways operate normally after 12:30 a.m. Sundays.
