Construction at Dupont Street bridge means TTC detours,
December 15 to 16 and 17 to 19

The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Dupont Street between Dundas Street West and Osler Street

for part of this week during work on the overpass that carries the Canadian National Railway’s Weston subdivision tracks across the roadway. Currently, GO Transit’s 21 Milton and 31 Georgetown trains operate across the bridge.

GO contractors are installing a new bridge span between the GO tracks and the West Toronto Rail Path bridge to accommodate another track. The new track will carry more trains along the Georgetown South corridor, including the future Air - Rail Link trains, connecting Union Station with Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along the 26 Dupont route, while the road is closed.
