Transit agencies often interline buses operating along two or more routes that share a common terminal to save resources — vehicles and drivers. For example, a southbound bus operating along the St. Catharines Transit Commission’s 4 Oakdale - Pen - Brock route arrives at the Brock Tower Terminal, then continues northward along the 16 Brock - Glenridge route. A southbound bus operating along the 16 Brock - Glenridge route arrives at Brock, then continues along the 4 Oakdale - Pen - Brock route.
