You can use PRESTO cards on some MiWay buses,
starting January 25

Starting next Tuesday, January 25, you can use your PRESTO cards to pay your fare when you board MiWay buses operating along three routes.

MiWay is equipping all buses operating along the 32 Lisgar GO, 62 Cooksville GO shuttle - Webb and 64 Meadowvale GO shuttle - Montevideo routes with PRESTO card readers. Starting next Tuesday, you can use PRESTO only to pay adult fares on the MiWay buses. The PRESTO system will deduct the right amount from your card for “co-fares” — the discount fares you pay if you ride both MiWay buses and GO Transit trains as part of a single trip.

Starting Monday, April 18, you can use PRESTO on all MiWay buses.

You can use PRESTO cards to pay fares on all GO Transit trains operating along the 01 Lakeshore West and 21 Milton lines, most stations along the 31 Georgetown line and some stations along the 09 Lakeshore East line. You can’t use the cards to pay fares on GO buses.

You can also use the cards to pay fares at some TTC rapid transit stations and all Burlington Transit and Oakville Transit buses. You can also soon use the cards to pay your fare on all Hamilton Street Railway buses (probably early in February).
