Buses replace streetcars along Spadina Avenue,
January 22, 23, 24

This weekend, the TTC is preparing for a project to repair the streetcar tracks along Spadina and Lower Spadina Avenues south of King Street West later this year.

Buses are replacing streetcars between Spadina Station and the loop at Lower Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay West from 5 a.m. Saturday, January 22 until 5 a.m. Monday, January 24.

Streetcars continue to operate along the 510 Spadina route, but start and end their trips at Bathurst Station, instead of Spadina Station.

South- and eastbound cars start their trips at Bathurst Station, then proceed:

southward along Bathurst Street; and then
eastward along Queens Quay West to Lower Spadina Avenue,
resuming their regular route eastward along Queens Quay.

West- and northbound cars reverse the route.

Passengers board and exit buses operating along Spadina and Lower Spadina Avenues at temporary stops along the curb, instead of at the regular streetcar stops in the centre of the roadway.
