Update: Keele Station parking lot reopens

Thanks to Transit Toronto reader Joey Swartz for the tip!

The TTC re-opened its parking lot at Keele Station to commuters this morning.

It had closed the lot on Monday, November 15 while contractors:

  • removed the pavement;
  • improved the drainage system;
  • repaired the catch basins;
  • installed new electrical feeds to new light standards;
  • installed new guard rails;
  • placed and compacted gravel; and
  • graded and paved the lot and painted lines.

The work resumes in the spring.

(The TTC originally announced that the lot would reopen on Monday, January 17.)
