Keele - Finch vivastation and fare machines out of service,
starting February 7

Starting Monday, February 7, the Keele - Finch vivastation will be out of service due to ongoing City of Toronto / TTC construction along Keele Street north of Finch Avenue West. The fare machine and ticket validator at the Keele-Finch vivastation will also be out of service.

Passengers traveling northbound along York Region Transit’s Viva orange route may board buses at a temporary stop on Keele at the southeast corner of Finch West. Passengers travelling southbound may board buses at temporary stop on Keele at the southwest corner of Finch West.

You need valid fare media — meaning tickets or passes — to ride on Viva buses. You may board a Viva bus at this location without a validated ticket but you must buy or or validate your ticket once you exit the bus at your destination.

Construction on Keele Street results from the TTC project to extend the 1 Yonge - University - Spadina subway northwestward from Downsview Station to York University and Vaughan.

If YRT reroutes buses operating along the Viva orange route to the York University busway this spring, it will no longer require the Keele - Finch vivastation.
