Map of YRT service -- if a strike takes place

Update — February 16, 11:09 p.m.: Members of Local 113 have rejected Veolia’s contract offer. Although talks between Veolia and the union will continue, the union says it will go on strike at 12:01 a.m. Monday, February 20.

Update — February 14, 6:55 a.m.: The members of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 113 and Veolia Transportation Canada have reached a tentative agreement and have averted strike action.

If members of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 113 go on strike against their employer, Veolia Transport Canada, at 12:01 a.m. Monday, February 14, buses would not operate along 24 York Region Transit routes.

The routes that a strike will affect are mostly in Vaughan, but some Veolia buses also serve parts of Aurora, King, Markham, Newmarket and Richmond Hill.

YRT has produced a temporary route map showing where YRT, Brampton Transit and TTC buses would continue to operate through southern York Region in the event of a strike.

You can see the map here. (.pdf)
