YRT revises routes and services, February 27

York Region Transit is revising its services along nearly 40 routes starting this Sunday, February 27 — assuming that some of its workers haven’t gone on strike!

Mostly YRT is increasing the the time between buses, to add more time to the schedule to give drivers more time to complete each trip along the routes, while still providing reliable service to passengers.

YRT is also eliminating some early-morning and evening service along routes with fewer passengers. It has already asked the TTC to eliminate some early-morning and evening service along the routes which the TTC operates for YRT in York Region. (The TTC made these changes to its schedules, starting Sunday, February 13. The changes affected service along the TTC’s 24 Victoria Park, 102 Markham Rd and 129 McCowan North routes.)
