Suggest names for Guelph's new downtown transit terminal

The City of Guelph is inviting residents to suggest names for the new downtown transit terminal on Carden Street east of Wyndham Street North.

Later this fall, the terminal will be a hub for GO Transit, Guelph Transit, Greyhound Canada, Coach Canada and Aboutown buses. VIA Rail Canada trains will continue to serve the nearby train station, and four daily GO trains will also operate to or from the station Mondays to Fridays.

The City’s looking for names that have geographic, civic or historic significance of the nearby neighbourhood or community or for names that recognize outstanding individuals.

(GO, Metrolinx, Guelph Transit and Greyhound must also approve the name of the terminal, before the City finalizes the name.)

Send your names to the City by Friday, March 25.
