GRT detours buses during Townline Cambridge construction,
March 14 to June 30



The Region of Waterloo is closing

  • Townline Road (Regional Road 33)from Can-Amera Parkway to First Concession in Cambridge

for 16 weeks starting Monday, March 14 for a project to rebuild the roadway.

Grand River Transit is detouring buses operating along the 75 busPLUS Saginaw and 9805 St. Benedict’s high school special routes while the roadway is closed.


75 busPLUS Saginaw

From Monday, March 14 until Thursday, June 30, inbound buses start their trips at Coulthard Boulevard and Arthur Fach Drive, then proceed:

northward along Arthur Fach; and then
westward along Can-Amera Parkway to Baintree Way / Lingard Road,
resuming their regular route westward along Can-Amera.

Inbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Coulthard Boulevard (westbound) west of Townline Road, at Arthur Flach Drive and Baintree Way and
  • on Baintree Way at Can-Amera Parkway.

Outbound buses operate along their regular route to Saginaw Parkway and Glen Valley Drive, then detour:

north- and westward along Glen Valley;
northward along Burnett Avenue;
eastward along Can-Amera Parkway;
southward along Baintree Way; and then
eastward along Coulthard Boulevard to Arthur Flach Drive,
ending their trips.

9805 St. Benedicts high school special

Monday-to-Friday school-day mornings from Monday, March 14 until Thursday, June 30, buses operate along their regular route to Townline Road and Can-Amera Parkway, then detour:

westward along Can-Amera; and then
southward along Burnett Avenue to Saginaw Parkway,
resuming their regular route westward along Saginaw.

Buses serve all regular stops.


Inbound buses operate toward downtown.

Outbound buses operate away from downtown.
