Project to install new transformer resumes
at Eglinton GO Station

Starting today, Tuesday, March 15, GO Transit and Toronto Hydro workers resume the project to install a new transformer at Eglinton GO Station.

Work crews will close an area east of the “Kiss ‘n’ Ride” passenger drop-off and pick-up facility and the pathway to the nearby pedestrian walkway to track one.

They’ll also close part of the accessible parking area. Passengers requiring accessible parking may use the two west lanes of the “Kiss ‘n’ Ride” to park instead.

GO expects to finish the project to upgrade electrical service at the station in May.

GO and Hydro previously worked on the transformer project for two weeks, starting Monday, November 22.
