Brampton Transit raises fares, March 28



Starting Monday, March 28, it will cost you 25 cents more to ride all Brampton Transit buses — if you’re younger than 65 years old.

Cash fares for adults younger than 65, students and children increase from $3 to $3.25. Cash fares for seniors — adults 65 years of age or older — drop to just $1!

Brampton Transit is also increasing the costs of monthly passes and fare cards.

It’s also adjusting its transfer policy to give passengers more time to make their connections. Starting Monday, Monday, March 28, all Brampton Transit transfers will be valid for two hours from the time that the driver issued them.

You can still use tickets you bought at current prices after March 28th.

Brampton Transit staff and vendors will sell weekly passes for March 28 - April 3 at the new rates. Drivers will honour monthly passes that you already bought in March. Vendors will sell April passes at the new rates.
