MiWay raises fares, April 4

You’ll have to pay an extra dime to buy adult bus tickets in Mississauga as MiWay raises fares, Monday, April 4. Cash fares remain at $3 for adults.

Mississauga City Council approved raising fares when it passed the City’s 2011 budget.

MiWay is also raising the cost of tickets for seniors — adults 65 years of age or older — by five cents. The cost to buy passes is also going up — by $9 for a monthly adult pass and by $3 for a monthly seniors pass.
