Starting Monday, April 4, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Stewart and Kerr Streets, then detour:

northward along Kerr to Speers Road,
resuming their regular route eastward along Speers.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Stewart Street at Queen Mary Drive,
  • on Queen Mary Drive at Kingswood Road and
  • on Kerr Street south of Sheppard Road.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off and pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Kerr Street north of Stewart Street and at Prince Charles Drive.

Westbound buses reverse the detour route.

You can see a map of the detour route here.

Construction continues until Thursday, June 30. Oakville Transit may return the buses to their regular route earlier than June 30, depending on how the work progresses.

Last year, the same construction project affected service along the 17 Kerr route, starting Tuesday, August 3.
