Brampton Transit detours buses during sewer construction
on The Gore Road, April 15 to 17

This weekend, the Region of Peel and the City of Brampton are closing:

  • The Gore Road (Regional Road 8) between Castlemore Road and Cottrelle Boulevard,

while contractors install storm sewers.

The work is part of a major regional project to upgrade the roadway by widening it to four lanes, building curbs and sidewalks and installing water-mains, storm and sanitary sewers.

Brampton Transit is detouring buses operating along the 50 Gore Road route, while the roadway is closed. It’s also operating shuttle buses to carry passengers around the construction zone.
