You can use PRESTO cards at Agincourt GO Station,
starting April 21

You can use PRESTO fare cards at Agincourt GO Station, starting today, Thursday, April 21, as Agincourt becomes the next PRESTO “agency” at a GO station.

At a PRESTO agency, you can

  • buy a PRESTO card,
  • “load” value onto your card,
  • check your balance and
  • make various other transactions.

At Agincourt GO Station, you can use your PRESTO card to pay fares on all GO Transit trains serving the station. You can’t use the card to pay your fare on TTC buses.

Until Wednesday, May 18, you can visit Agincourt GO Station to trade your 10-ride ticket or monthly pass for a PRESTO card free. Present your ticket or pass to the station attendant and the attendant will transfer any balance to a PRESTO card and waive the usual the $6 issuance fee.

Read Transit Toronto’s June 4, 2010 post for more information about using PRESTO cards on GO trains.
