No trains to and from Aldershot GO Station,
early May 7 and 8

This weekend, Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, as GO Transit construction crews continue to replace railway ties along the 01 Lakeshore West line, they’ll focus on the section of tracks between Oakville and Bronte GO Stations.

They’ll work overnight work on two tracks until 10 a.m. both May 7 and 8. The work reduces rail traffic in both directions to operating on a single track, delaying trains.

To reduce the delay, GO is scheduling the first three westbound trains both days — leaving Union Station at 6:43, 7:43 and 8:43 a.m. — to end their trips at Burlington GO Station, instead of Aldershot GO Station. The first three eastbound trains — they usually start their trips from Aldershot at 8:04, 9:04 and 10:04 a.m. — originate, instead, from Burlington.

GO buses will carry passengers between Aldershot and Burlington GO Stations.
