Toronto Transit Commission meets, May 11



The Toronto Transit Commission meets tomorrow, Wednesday, May 11.

The meeting takes place at 10 a.m., in Committee Room 3, second floor, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West.


Among other items, the Commissioners will discuss staff reports

  • exploring options for operating more buses along Finch Avenue West. (You can read the staff report here. (.pdf))
  • recommending that the Commission approve adding citizens to its membership. (You can read the staff report here. (.pdf))
  • recommending that the TTC operate extra service between along the 510 Spadina route between King Street West and Queens Quay West on a trial basis. Short-turn streetcars would operate south of King Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours from Monday, June 20 until Friday, September 2. (You can read the staff report here. (.pdf))
