How can the TTC improve service to people with disabilities?
Public forum on accessible transit, May 19

The TTC and its Advisory Committee on Accessible Transportation (ACAT) want to hear from you on how to improve access to the TTC for people with disabilities.

The annual Public Forum on Accessible Transit takes place next Thursday, May 19 from 7 until 9:30 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall of the Queen Elizabeth Building, 180 Princes’ Boulevard in Exhibition Place.

To help you get to and from the meeting, the TTC is operating an accessible shuttle bus from Bathurst Station to the Queen Elizabeth Building, starting at 6 p.m. Buses return to Bathurst Station, starting at 9:30 p.m. You can also ride the regular accessible buses operating along the 29 Dufferin route through Exhibition Place.

The TTC will arrange for American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, captioning and attendants to be available for the meeting.

If you can’t attend, but would like to suggest ways to improve the TTC regular and Wheel-Trans services, call 416-393-3030 (TTY [teletypewriter] 416-481-2523) Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
