Free shuttle service to the waterfront started May 21



The Waterfront Business Improvement Area wants to attract more tourists and shoppers to the stores on Toronto’s Waterfront, so, starting yesterday, Saturday, May 21, they’re operating a free shuttle bus between Union Station and Ontario Place.

Buses operate every 30 minutes from about 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. seven days a week until Thanksgiving, Monday, October 10.

South- and westbound buses leave the south entrance of Union Station at Maple Leaf Square every 30 minutes, starting at 10 a.m. Five minutes after leaving Union, they stop on the south side of Queens Quay West in front of the Admiral Radisson Hotel. Ten minutes after leaving, they stop in front of Queens Quay Terminal. Fifteen minutes after leaving they stop in front of Harbour Castle Westin Hotel. Thirty minutes after leaving they end their trips at Ontario Place.

North- and eastbound buses leave Ontario Place every 30 minutes, starting at 10:30 a.m. Ten minutes after leaving Ontario Place, they stop in front of the Admiral Radisson. Fifteen minutes after leaving, they stop in front of Queens Quay Terminal. Twenty minutes after leaving, they stop in front of the Westin Harbour Castle. They then return to Maple Leaf Square for another trip.
