Buses replace streetcars on St. Clair west of Lansdowne,
May 28, 29, 30



This weekend, the City of Toronto is repairing catch basins on St. Clair Avenue West beneath the Canadian Pacific Railway bridge, east of Keele Street.

The TTC is short-turning streetcars operating along the 512 St. Clair route at the Earlscourt Loop, on the southwest corner of St. Clair Avenue West and Lansdowne Avenue. Shuttle buses replace the cars on St. Clair West west of Lansdowne.


312 St. Clair overnight

Buses operate along their regular route throughout the weekend.

512 St. Clair

From 5 a.m. Saturday, May 28 until 5 a.m. Monday, May 30, streetcars start and end their trips in Earlscourt Loop, on the southwest corner of Lansdowne Avenue and St. Clair Avenue West. Shuttle buses replace the cars west of Lansdowne.

Eastbound cars skip their regular stops

  • in Gunns Loop,
  • on St. Clair Avenue West at Keele Street, Old Weston Road, east of Hounslow Heath Road and Laughton Avenue and at Caledonia Park Road and Lansdowne Avenue.

Westbound cars skip their regular stops

  • on St. Clair Avenue West at Caledonia Road, across from Laughton Avenue, west of Silverthorn Avenue and at Old Weston Road and Keele Street and
  • in Gunns Loop.
512 St. Clair shuttle bus

From 5 a.m. Saturday, May 28 until 5 a.m. Monday, May 30, buses replace streetcars operating along the 512 St. Clair route west of Lansdowne Avenue.

Eastbound buses start their trips in Gunns Loop, then proceed:

southward along Gunns Road,
eastward along St. Clair Avenue West;
southward along Caledonia Park Road; and then
northward along Lansdowne Avenue to St. Clair Avenue West,
ending their trips.

Eastbound buses drop off and pick up passengers at stops

  • in Gunns Loop
  • on St. Clair Avenue West at Keele Street, Old Weston Road, east of Hounslow Heath Road and Laughton Avenue and at Caledonia Park Road
  • on Davenport Road east of Caledonia Park Road.
  • on Lansdowne Avenue beside #1325 Lansdowne and at St. Clair Avenue West.

Westbound buses start their trips on Lansdowne Avenue south of St. Clair Avenue West, then proceed:

northward along Lansdowne;
westward along St. Clair Avenue West; and then
northward into Gunns Loop,
ending their trips.

Westbound buses drop off and pick up passengers at stops

  • on Lansdowne Avenue at St. Clair Avenue West,
  • on St. Clair Avenue West at Caledonia Road, across from Laughton Avenue, west of Silverthorn Avenue and at Old Weston Road and Keele Street and
  • in Gunns Loop.
