GO and other intercity buses stop at temporary terminal
in downtown Guelph, starting June 19

During the week from Monday, June 19 until Friday, June 25, the City of Guelph is relocating GO Transit, Greyhound Canada and Aboutown Northlink services from the current bus terminal on Carden Street. Intercity buses will drop off and pick up passengers at a temporary terminal at the southwest corner of Wyndham Street South and Fountain Street West.

The City is closing the current terminal as part of its project to build a new downtown terminal for intercity and Guelph Transit buses. GO trains start operating to and from the nearby VIA Rail station later this year.

Guelph Transit buses operating on the 51 Gordon, 52 University / Kortright and 54 Arkell have already started dropping off and picking up passengers at temporary stops at the corner of Gordon Street and Fountain Street West. The temporary stops are close to the site of the temporary terminal on Fountain Street. GT buses operating along the 10 College / Niska route continue serve their regular stops on Wellington Street East at Wyndham Street South, which are also close to the temporary terminal.

You can park close to the temporary terminal in the pay and display lots on Wilson and Macdonell Streets and in the West Parkade on Macdonell Street, where you pay when you exit. Monthly parking permits are also available.
