Woodlawn construction means detours
for Guelph Transit buses, today, June 8 only



City of Guelph contractors are working on a project to resurface

  • Woodlawn Road West, between Imperial Road North and Silvercreek Parkway North.

Guelph Transit is detouring buses operating along the 22 Conestoga and 70A Perimeter counterclockwise and 70B Perimeter clockwise routes during the work today, Wednesday, June 8.

The contractors are continuing work on a project that also affected Guelph Transit services from Monday, May 30 until Wednesday, June 2.


22 Conestoga

Wednesday, June 8 only, buses operate along their regular route to Royal and Massey Roads, then detour:

westward along Massey;
northward along Imperial Road North;
eastward along Curtis Drive; and then
southward along Silvercreek Parkway North to Woodlawn Avenue West,
resuming their regular route southward along Silvercreek North.

Buses skip their regular stops

  • on Royal Road north of Massey Road and at Woodlawn Avenue West and
  • on Woodlawn Avenue West east of Royal Road and across from Regal Road.

Instead, buses drop off and pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Imperial Road North north of Massey Road and Woodlawn Avenue West and south of Curtis Drive and
  • on Curtis Drive east of Monarch Road.
70B Perimeter clockwise

Wednesday, June 8 only, buses operate along their regular route to Woodlawn Avenue West and Imperial Road North, then detour:

northward along Imperial Road North;
eastward along Curtis Drive; and then
southward along Silvercreek Parkway North to Woodlawn West,
resuming their regular route eastward along Woodlawn.

Buses skip their regular stops

  • on Woodlawn Avenue West east of Royal Road and across from Regal Road.

Instead, buses drop off and pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Imperial Road North north of Massey Road and Woodlawn Avenue West and south of Curtis Drive and
  • on Curtis Drive east of Monarch Road.
70A Perimeter counterclockwise

From Monday, May 30 until Tuesday, June 21, buses operate along their regular route to Woodlawn Avenue West and Silvercreek Parkway North, then detour:

northward along Silvercreek North;
westward along Curtis Drive; and then
southward along Imperial Road North to Woodlawn West,
resuming their regular route southward along Imperial North.

Buses skip their regular stops

  • on Woodlawn Avenue West at Regal Road and across from Royal Road.
