More TTC buses with bike racks, starting June 19

When the TTC introduces its latest service changes on Sunday, June 19, it will also introduce three more routes that operate with buses that carry bike racks. After Sunday, TTC buses with bike racks serve passengers on about 156 of 168 routes.

The TTC plans to equip buses serving all route with the racks by the end of 2012.

The TTC is equipping all buses operating on these routes with bike racks starting Sunday:

71 Runnymede
77 Swansea
90 Vaughan

The TTC is also introducing accessible buses on the same three routes starting Sunday.

You can easily load and unload your bike from the bike racks. Each rack can hold two bikes and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You pay your regular fare, but your bike rides for free.
