Buses replace streetcars along Kingston Road
until September 6

Starting Monday, June 20, the TTC has operated buses, instead of streetcars, along the 502 Downtowner and the 503 Kingston Rd routes.

The City of Toronto has canceled a project to replace watermains along Kingston Road, but, since the TTC had already scheduled the buses for Kingston Road and had reallocated the streetcars to other routes for the summer, it says it will continue to replace the cars with buses until after Labour Day.

Regular streetcar service resumes Tuesday, September 6.
