Bridge Street construction project means detours
for GO, Niagara Falls Transit buses, starting July 26

The City of Niagara Falls is closing - Bridge Street between Fourth and Victoria Avenues

for a construction project, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 26.

Niagara Falls Transit is detouring buses operating along the 12 Thorold Stone route while the road is closed.

Westbound buses operate along their regular route to Bridge Street and Victoria Avenue, then detour:

southward along Victoria;
westward along Maple Street; and then
northward along Fourth Avenue to Bridge,
resuming their regular route westward along Bridge.

Eastbound buses reverse the detour routing.

The construction likely also affects GO Transit buses operating along the 12 Niagara Falls - Burlngton route. GO has not confirmed a detour route, but the construction will not affect GO bus stops.

Construction — and detours — continue until Friday, August 19.
