More TTC buses with bike racks, starting today

The TTC is operating buses that carry bike racks along three more routes today, Sunday, July 31. TTC buses with bike racks now serve passengers on 165 of its 171 routes.

The TTC is equipping all buses operating on these routes with bike racks, starting today:

59 Maple Leaf
141 Downtown / Mt Pleasant express
171 Mt Dennis

You can easily load and unload your bike from the bike racks. Each rack can hold two bikes and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You pay your regular fare, but your bike rides for free.

You can find out more about using bike racks on TTC buses here.

The TTC plans to equip buses operating along the 52 Lawrence West and 352 Lawrence West overnight routes with the racks in the near future, making all bus routes bike-friendly.

The TTC is also introducing accessible buses on the same three routes today.
