Update: Construction at Bronte GO Station continues

Regular Transit Toronto reader Robert Lubinski e-mailed us today to let us know about the status of the long-standing GO Transit construction project at Bronte GO Station.

Robert tells us that GO has now reopened the east tunnel to tracks 1 and 2. As of this week, GO only opens the doors of the the first coaches for trains arriving on track 2, while trains arriving on track 1 have no door restrictions.

GO contractors are now installing the snow-melt system on the west part of platforms 1 and 2, one-half at a time.

GO started installing the snow-melt system on Tuesday, March 15. It closed the east tunnel on Saturday, May 14.
