Detours for TTC buses at St. Clair West Station this weekend,
August 5, 6, 7, 8

The TTC is continuing its project to repair concrete at St. Clair West Station. This weekend, it’s repairing the east ramp into the underground bus and street terminal at the station.

Since it’s already replacing streetcars operating along the 512 St. Clair route with buses east of the station for another project to upgrade the overhead wiring, the work only affects the buses operating between St. Clair West and St. Clair Stations.

From 10:30 p.m. tonight, Friday, August 5 until 5 a.m. Monday, August 8, eastbound buses start their trips in the St. Clair West Station terminal, exit the station by the western ramp, then proceed:

westward along St. Clair Avenue West;
northward along Bathurst Street;
eastward along Tichester Road and Heath Street West; and then
southward along Spadina Road to St. Clair West,
resuming their regular route eastward along St. Clair.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on St. Clair Avenue West across from Tweedsmuir Avenue.

Westbound buses operate along their regular route to St. Clair Avenue West and Spadina Road, then detour:

northward along Spadina;
westward along Heath Street West / Tichester Road;
southward along Bathurst Street; and then
westward along St. Clair West to St. Clair West Station,
ending their trips.

Westbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on St. Clair Avenue West at Tweedsmuir Avenue.
